Hatcher Garden consists of 13 acres and is situated off of John B. White Sr. Blvd. Founded in the late 1960s by Harold and Josephine Hatcher, this woodland preserve is open free everyday of the year from dawn to dusk. When you give to Hatcher Garden, you are helping to keep our garden oasis beautiful and accessible for all people.
Their mission is to provide inspiration, education, and enjoyment in nature. Along with being a place where anyone can enjoy and learn in the natural environment, they also offer a robust education program for area schools and other groups. Their education programs cover all ages. While there is a fee for some education programs, they are generously discounted due to the contributions from families, individuals, organizations, and businesses who support Hatcher Garden each year.
Thank you for giving to your Woods in the City!
