Did you know that more and more families are struggling to pay their housing costs?
The cost to rent a one bedroom apartment is now about $950 per month. This means a single mother with one child, making $45,000/ yr will have to pay around 50% of their net income on a two-bedroom apartment.
This is causing many families to financially struggle or sadly, become homeless. The Upstate Family Resource Center is working with families to provide rental or motel assistance in an effort to keep families housed.
