The Children’s Museum of the Upstate

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate aspires to ignite a community of compassionate problem solvers through intentional and inclusive play. TCMU-Spartanburg is designed for children ages 6 and under. The museum houses 6,000 square feet of exhibits that were developed on a smaller scale to meet the physical needs of early learners. Counters are built for their height and crawling areas are padded for infants. Exhibits and free weekly programming focus on early childhood development and Kindergarten readiness.

Beyond exhibits, TCMU-Spartanburg offers a variety of ways for families to engage with the museum. Families can host their birthday parties at the museum, participate in annual special events, enjoy free weekly programming or even attend summer camp! Annual museum membership include unlimited museum visits and several member perks.
As an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution, The Children’s Museum of the Upstate relies on its generous donors to achieve its’ mission of igniting a community of compassionate problem solvers through intentional and inclusive play.
