First pitch is at 3:00 p.m.! \nUsing Greenville Drive baseball as a backdrop\, this annual celebration of the girls\, the families\, the organization\, supporters/leaders\, and the impact throughout the community (and beyond)! Girls will participate in a pregame parade around Fluor Field\, receive a commemorative patch\, have the opportunity to participate in between-inning games\, and then run the bases postgame with Reedy Rip’It! \nTickets are just $8 each! Purchase before April 29 and you’ll also get a $5 ballpark voucher to spend on food or beverage at the game!

DESCRIPTION:Explore basic watercolor techniques and create one of kind mono prints from your design. \nYou will learn how to create an image from your photos or other sources using watercolor. At the end of the session\, you will have several prints are stand alone as artworks or maybe further developed with other media. \nAll levels of learners are welcome to this workshop for day of exploration.\n.\nCost: Free- Bring any photos of other sources of images. All materials will be provided. \nAbout the Artist: Mary Lou’s artwork focuses on watercolor media\, incorporating textural materials\, to create what she calls “watercolor patchwork\,” the process she uses to unite watercolor media with the art of quilting. \nNOTE: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance! Failure to provide advanced notice may result in restriction from registering for future classes. Our free classes have high demand and we would love to make sure all spots are accounted for!

DESCRIPTION:Please join us as acclaimed World War II chronicler Alex Kershaw shares insights from his newest work\, Against All Odds. Maurice “Footsie” Britt\, Michael J. Daly\, Audie Murphy and Keith Ware all earned their Medals of Honor fighting Germans in the European Theater of Operations in World War II. This book tells the stories of these soldiers from the Third Infantry Division (The Rock of the Marne) – detailing their backgrounds\, their experiences\, their valor\, and the feelings the experience they faced as they returned home and went back to normal life. Kershaw will share his thoughts on these men and how he put their stories together in this author talk. Twenty-five books will be available for purchase before the program – these are available on a first-come\, first-served basis.
