DESCRIPTION:Join us on Monday June 5th for our Poetry\, Potluck & Dialogue Community Gathering! We will be IN PERSON at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Spartanburg and online via Zoom from 6p-8:30p. If you plan to join us online\, just click this LINK to register! Our discussion will be centered on the theme of Mindfulness\, Breathwork and Meditation for Racial Healing. \nOur theme for the month of June is Body Work as a Path to Racial Healing. When it comes to mindfullness\, breathwork and meditatation (all forms of body work)\, these are often used for physical wellness and healing of sorts. Racism impacts us all has caused harm to many. How can these forms of body work help in repairing that harm\, in building authentic relationships across real and perceived differences and see the inherent value in all people? We will conduct dialogue that dives into this and much\, much more! \nAnd don’t forget to bring your favorite dish and/ or dessert to enjoy while we fellowship with one another! We look forward to seeing you all on June 5th IN PERSON and via Zoom!
