DESCRIPTION:Join the Determined to Soar team in welcoming Marlee Matlin\, the Academy Award-Winning Actress & Activist to Spartanburg. \nIn an elevated evening also featuring Spartanburg performers\, guest speaker Ms. Matlin will deliver an inspirational message:  Nobody’s Perfect: Achieving Inclusion\, Diversity\, & Access. \nDetermined to Soar is a non-partisan\, non-profit group joining forces to celebrate women’s achievements throughout history and in contemporary life in order to educate\, inspire\, and unify the next generation of leaders.  To accomplish these goals\, Determined to Soar stages interactive and engaging events. \nPlease demonstrate your support of Determined to Soar by purchasing the Premium Seating ($100 each). \nSponsorships are available by going to https://determinedtosoar.org. Donate directly to their fund at The Spartanburg County Foundation with a click of the DONATE button on the website\, https://determinedtosoar.org. \nConverse students may attend for free by showing their Converse ID at the Box Office entrance on the day of the event\, and being seated in the balconies\, except the center balconies of 7 & 8\, which are for sale. \nConverse faculty and staff are entitled to a discount by arranging tickets through the box office prior to the event.
