Black Girls Painting

We are excited to be offering our Black Girls Painting event again this year! Our guest instructor will once again be ShAy Black, an extraordinarily talented visual artist, painter, sculptor, and poet! You can learn more about ShAy and what she does by visiting her website.
Black Girls Painting will be held Saturday, February 25th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Mayfair Studios in Spartanburg. Paint supplies and refreshments will be provided. You can purchase tickets for only $5 by using the link here.
The purpose of Black Girl Painting is threefold:
1. To affirm the humanity of young Black girls and women.
2. Create and provide a brave space for play and creativity.
3. Build a lasting bond within the community amongst Black women.
