Don’t miss the 7th Annual Cribbs Kitchen Burger Cook-off benefiting Children’s Cancer Partners! Join us in Downtown Spartanburg at the corner of Daniel Morgan and West Main street on April 30th from 1-7 pm to sample tasty slider burgers and other scrumptious food while enjoying great music, children’s activities and more!
Children’s Cancer Partners provides comprehensive support and loving compassion to families whose children are battling cancer to improve their overall quality of life. With Cancer being the #1 disease killer of children and only 9 centers for Treatment of Children Cancer available in North and South Carolina, Children’s Cancer Partners assists the children and the family by providing immediate emotional, navigation and financial support to help affected families on their perilous journey.
The organization provides resources and programs to help lift the burdens of families seeking cancer treatments for their children. They help gather supplies for families like shampoo, detergent, toilet paper, etc. through their partnership with United Way Gift-in-Kind Center. CCP also helps with funds not covered by insurance for transportation, gas, flights, lodging, and meals for families when visiting treatments. Financial burdens on families can be overwhelming, so Children’s Cancer partners have emergency assistance and financial literacy counseling programs along with necessary funeral costs.
