Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate gives big and bold to the communities it serves by creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and potential of youth.
Currently, there are over 100 Littles on the waiting list for a Big. Gifts will be used to recruit and enroll Bigs. The annual cost per match is $1,500. BBBS’s vision is that all youth are able to reach their full potential. When youth reach their full potential, they make big and bold differences in the world.
Annual Cost per Match Budget:
$600 – Supports the match allowing Bigs, Littles, and their families to meet on a consistent basis
$340 – Volunteer enrollment such as reference checks, interviews, home visits, orientation, and approval
$230 – Operational expenses: supplies, communication, activities, facilities, liability insurance
$200 – Volunteer recruitment, promotional materials, match engagement, transportation
$100 – Enrollment of Littles
