Speaking Down Barriers, in collaboration with artist ShAy Black and ShAy Black Expressions, will be presenting Black Girls Painting: Paint and Poetry Affirmations on Saturday April 30 from 1p-3p!!! This event will be for girls ages 12 and up. You can get your tickets by using the following link:

The purpose of this event is three fold:
To affirm the humanity of black women.
Create and provide a safe space for play and creativity.
Build a lasting bond within the community amongst black women.
Paint supplies and food will be provided.
